Keepsake Cracker Assembly Guide
Welcome to Your Keepsake Cracker
Unlike traditional Christmas crackers that are pulled apart and discarded, your keepsake cracker has been specially designed to be enjoyed year after year or kept as a special memento. Our exclusive two-part construction allows the cracker to separate gently, protecting its beautiful design so it can become part of your family's Christmas traditions.
A Christmas Keepsake
Fill your cracker with thoughtful gifts, handwritten messages, festive treats or treasured keepsakes, then simply slide the two halves apart to reveal the surprises inside.
When Christmas is over, refill it ready for next year, store it as a festive decoration, or pass it on as a gift for someone else to enjoy.

Important Information
Our keepsake crackers are not designed to be used with cracker snaps.
Traditional snaps work by tearing the cracker apart, which would damage the reusable design. Instead, simply untie or loosen the ribbon and gently separate the two sections to reveal the gifts inside.

Assembly Instructions
Here is some step-by-step assembly guidance for your keepsake crackers...
Each cracker comprises of two different sections. To make each cracker you will need one section that has the cracker code and copyright information at the bottom and one without. The section without the copyright slides inside the other.
- First, gently push out all of the “diamonds” from the necks of the cracker boards.
- Each cracker half has a set of crease lines across the board. Lay the cracker, design side down, then gently crease the lines to help with assembly.
- Gently roll each half of the cracker to join the middle tab into the slot. At this stage take care to avoid tearing the crackers where the “diamonds” have been removed, as this is the weakest part of the cracker.
- Now tightly roll up the hat and the joke, if you have one, and place inside the barrel of the smaller half of the cracker. You could also add your gift at this stage, wrapping the hat and joke around the gift to help it all slide in.
- Tie a piece of ribbon around the neck of each half of the cracker, pulling slowly and gently until you feel the cracker is completely secured. Keep tight but do not overtighten it and then tie a bow or knot, whichever you prefer. For a basic bow you will need approximately 50cm per cracker neck for a standard sized cracker or 60cm per cracker neck for a large cracker.
- Slot the inner barrel into the outer barrel and your keepsake cracker is complete!
We hope your keepsake cracker becomes part of many wonderful Christmas memories.
Merry Christmas from the team at That's Crackers!
